Main Lodge


Main Lodge The Main Lodge was the first permanent building built at Camp Lowden.

It houses the camp office, trading post, and a meeting area with a stone fireplace.

Photos and memorabilia are also on display.

  • Location: This rectangular building is 70 yards west of the parking lot by the camp bell.
  • Capacity: 24 people (no bunks; mattresses only)
  • Heat: Gas Heat; also wood-burning fireplace
  • Cook stove: None
  • Refrigerator: None
  • Closest Latrine: Visitorís Latrine (NW corner of parking lot)
  • Electricity: Lights only
